We made it through the Holidays of 2011 and have already passed through the first month of 2012.  So many things are going on it's hard to know where to start, but we have been loving every minute of our time with Henry & Maxwell.  I have to say (of course I am the Mommy), but these two boys are amazing!  I can't imagine what our lives were like before they arrived!

Maxwell and Henry with their 1st Christmas ornaments.  They were both immediately sampled for taste, and promptly discarded for more interesting toys! Go figure!

One of the more peaceful moments in our busy days!

Maxwell and Henry took a ride on the toys Grandma & Grandpa Hector brought when visiting.

Bath time is a lot of fun for the boys and a lot of work for Mommy & Daddy!
The boys have since out grown their yellow duckie tub and now we have a new
tub that should last them a few more months.

The boys play together during the daytime in their fort,

and they have each other to lean on at night before they go to bed.

This is a picture of the boys Christmas morning just after we removed the barricades from around the Christmas tree! We were under attack!

Daddy trying to get the darn present open, but not doing it fast enough!

Mommy and the boys trying to pick out a Christmas tree. We had to cheat this year and get our tree
from a parking lot instead of cutting it down ourselves.
Lesson #1 of Parenthood:  You do what works! Ha! Ha!

The classic family pose on Christmas morning where everyone is looking a different direction!

Henry and Uncle Brandon

And last but not least for this blog, our home has been transformed in to the St. Joseph Stockyards consisting of a series of holding pens and gates throughout.  Maxwell started crawling at 7 months and Henry followed shortly after at 8 months, now they crawl REAL FAST and both walk behind a push walker. It is only a matter of time now!!! Also, Maxwell has both of his bottom front teeth and Henry drools buckets each night so I am sure he will be close behind.

Take care and come by and visit!!

Fall Fun

The Hector Family went out and about town one Saturday afternoon trying to find some pretty fall leaves where we could take some good pictures! It proved rather difficult to get the whole crew to look in the same direction! Lol!

Henry & Maxwell love to pick up grass and things off the ground, hopefully Mommy was able to keep everything out of their mouthes!

Madison is an 8th grader at Bode Middle School this year.

Monthly Measure Up

As you can see from the pictures the boys are now about the same size as their teddy bear.  We have been taking a monthly picture with this teddy bear to try and compare how much they grow each month.  This is their 5 month picture and you afer the formal pose they started wrestling with their teddy a bit, but it looks like teddy had the upperhand!

Also, the boys are officially sitting up as of 5 monthes and 3 weeks!  They both still tip over with a strong breeze, so we have to watch them closely! Lol!

Labor Day - 2011

We had a good time at the Ferguson Farm on Labor Day, both of my brothers and families came out and we had a good old fashioned fried chicken dinner! Tyson was a real chef with the fried chicken, hopefully we can get him cook it again!  We took the boys for a stroller walk around the farm and paused for a few pics under a shade tree.

This is an assortment of photos taken around the start of September, the boys had their 5 month b-day on Sept. 2nd!!  It's been a tough couple of weeks as Daddy has been moved to 3rd shift and Grandma Ferguson has been pulling night shifts with the boys to help Mommy out! Thank God!
