Rice Cereal

We tried rice cereal today per the doctor's okay and as you can see from the pics
not very much actually went down the hatch.  The boys just kind of looked at us like, "What are you doing to us.... and should we really have this stuff in our mouth?"

Bath time has become a favorite time of the day. We have fun every evening, splashing around
and playing in the water!  Sometimes the boys like to play "fireman" as Daddy calls it and
Mommy just trys to stay out of range!

These pictures were taken during our afternoon "tummy time" session.  We have been working on this for several weeks now and the boys seem to enjoy it, whereas in the beginning it usually made them cry!

Henry and Maxwell gave rice cereal a go!  No surprises that Max seemed to think cereal might be a little funny textured but okay and smacked his lips at each spoonful after a bit.  Henry on the other hand didn't finding anything tasty in his spoon and promptly ejected all cereal that entered his mouth.
We will try again when Mom & Dad have enough energy! Ha Ha!

It has been a lazy Sunday afternoon, the storm clouds have been rolling in and out all morning with rain showers here and there.  Maxwell and I went out into the backyard and stood under the sweet gum tree while it was sprinkling and he didn't seem to notice the rain drops, but he looked up at the green leaves and branches in awe.  I think that he enjoys a change of scenery, the living room walls and ceiling are starting to get old (for all of us)!

The boys schedules continue to be weird... we think it is a result of them receiving their 4 month old shots at their doctor visit on Friday.  They have been fussy when awake but mostly sleeping, long naps, which is very unusual for them.  We keep checking to make sure they are still breathing.  How ironic that we pray for them to sleep a 30 minute stretch and when they do we are worried they are sleeping too much!
